I love Alice in Wonderland so much and this book gave me the most epic and twisted story of the Queen of Hearts. I just can’t believe what’s happening to the Queen and I am so troubled how she become the cruel and evil Queen. But this story made me complete and I want to the author for bringing my childhood back even though the story is all about the Queen of Hearts.

You all know the story and I’m just going through my feeling about this book so much. I really love how Marissa Meyer put the love story and the twist how she become the queen. I imagine the hardship she’s been through a lot of her travel and my heart melted with her feelings and love for what she’s doing before she’s been a queen. I gone mad with her decisions and I know it’s her choice, if I could just dive in to the book and tell her to leave all behind, she and Jest will live forever. Of course, forever and promises are like stones in this book but who knows that they’re going to be apart. Characters are well blended especially to Jest, the White Rabbit, Cheshire cat and Mad Hatter. I really love those characters and they’ve been part of this journey in my heart. My favorite is, of course, Jest, he’s so ready to give up everything for Cath and he knows what true love mean is and I just can’t believe what the author did to him. It’s really heart breaking, I will gone mad like Cath if I’m in her position too.

Overall, so intense, so lovely but yet heartbreaking. I can’t stop thinking about Cath’s story and every time I see the book, it pains me more than ever. This is unforgettable read! I can’t say anymore and I don’t want to spoil everyone. I just love everything in this book and this is the very first book that I read from Marissa Meyer. I might read all her books after this wonderful retelling!

Grace wants out. Out of her house, where her stepfather wields fear like a weapon and her mother makes her scrub imaginary dirt off the floors. Out of her California town, too small to contain her big city dreams. Out of her life, and into the role of Parisian artist, New York director—anything but scared and alone.

Enter Gavin: charming, talented, adored. Controlling. Dangerous. When Grace and Gavin fall in love, Grace is sure it’s too good to be true. She has no idea their relationship will become a prison she’s unable to escape.

Deeply affecting and unflinchingly honest, this is a story about spiraling into darkness—and emerging into the light again.

20adf4_df1db29699fc459a8480746d5e7c0908 My thoughts 20adf4_df1db29699fc459a8480746d5e7c0908

Similar story in my real life. This is what I can all say.

No, just kidding guys. I’m just overwhelmed to this book so much.

The story surrounds to the girl named Grace that her dream is to go to New York and be a future director. She cannot wait to escape to her family that she’s been locking her in house chores and never got a chance to hang out with friends longer than her curfew. She’s been in love with Gavin ever since freshman and when she got a chance to be with him, she doesn’t know what her life got into.

This book is such a roller coaster ride. Seriously, I finish this book the whole day in the office because I really can’t put the book down. I cried in the most terrible and sad moments, especially on what’s happening to Grace was really unfortunate. And also laugh with her in some scenes with her best friends and with Gavin of course. The story was so catchy and everyone could ever relate to it. I love how the author wrote the story perfectly like everything is on place. I got really satisfied on the story, I feel satisfied on everything. This is one perfectly flat story like you don’t really want to miss.

Overall, this is the first time I read from the author and it is perfectly done. If you are looking for a perfect heart breaking story, I recommend you this. This book is hitting on the shelves on June 13, so better watch this book out.

This is the second book I read like fangirling-meet-celebrity thing and until now, it didn’t fail to amaze me. This one is tricky, the twist is on control and everything set in order. The ending? OMG! The ending, you wouldn’t even expect it coming. I finished this book in one seating, what can I say? it’s addictive and you don’t want to miss everything.

The story surrounds to Tessa Hart, an eighteen year old fangirl of Eric Thorn. She stays only at home, in her room and just listening to Eric’s music as her comfort zone. She’s also meeting a therapist to help her severe anxiety. Tessa creates a Twitter account that holds 30.1k followers and create the hashtag #EricThornObsessed that hit the trends for days. Then, Eric Thorn, a paranoid teenage boy because of what happened to the last singer who murdered by fans. He’s more terrified and he’s fighting back to his paranoia and he creates a fake account to ruin the fangirls including @TessaHeartsEric.

YUP YUP I love this book so much! I seriously can’t help not to read it until the end. I like how the author writes the story from the investigation thingy and how the story flows continues in every interval of those transcripts that made of Tessa and Eric. It helps me to understand what’s really happening between the two characters and the action is not really taking long.

The two characters are both adorable and really chessy on their exchanging messages. They both make me giggle and laugh and I can easily blend in to the story and the happenings in this book. Overall, this is a twisty and I love it so much. No bad things happen and everything seems in perfect timing and place for the mystery. I just knew about the second book and I really can’t wait for more stories.

OKAY, HOLD UP JUST A MINUTE… THIS BOOK IS JUST WONDERFULLY AND AWESOMESAUCE GREATNESS OVERLOAD. I have been thinking so much the mystery behind of this book and everyone, this book gave me too much Sherlock senses and ya know, I really love Sherlock and solving mystery cases like this. But the ending, it is unexpected. I’M SHOOKED!

The story took place in high school were five students went to detention for having phones in the class and should write 500 words essay as punishment. Simon, one of the students in detention and a writer of a blog About That, mysteriously died and the police are investigating four students that are in the same room with him. Students has their own secrets, secrets hasn’t yet to reveal and scared that everyone in the school will found out because of Simon’s website. Who is lying? Who would you believed? Well, it’s for you to read this book and find out who is lying and the murderer among them.

This book is one blown away book. I honestly love this book! I’ve been thinking the mystery around and getting suspicious to every character each chapter of this book. I must say, the people in this book are good at hiding their secrets and revealing them each chapter. You can’t put down this book so easily because of the twist and the breathe-taking revealing truths. I just can’t.

Overall, it is twisted and seriously guys, pick this book once it’s on the shelf because I don’t want you to miss out the best mystery EVER and I’m recommending this to everyone who love solving mysteries, being a Sherlock and fans of The Breakfast Club and Pretty Little Liars.

Being a bastard blows. Tilla would know. Her father, Lord Kent of the Western Province, loved her as a child, but cast her aside as soon as he had trueborn children.

At sixteen, Tilla spends her days exploring long-forgotten tunnels beneath the castle with her stablehand half brother, Jax, and her nights drinking with the servants, passing out on Jax’s floor while her castle bedroom collects dust. Tilla secretly longs to sit by her father’s side, resplendent in a sparkling gown, enjoying feasts with the rest of the family. Instead, she sits with the other bastards, like Miles of House Hampstedt, an awkward scholar who’s been in love with Tilla since they were children.

Then, at a feast honoring the visiting princess Lyriana, the royal shocks everyone by choosing to sit at the Bastards’ Table. Before she knows it, Tilla is leading the sheltered princess on a late-night escapade. Along with Jax, Miles, and fellow bastard Zell, a Zitochi warrior from the north, they stumble upon a crime they were never meant to witness.

Rebellion is brewing in the west, and a brutal coup leaves Lyriana’s uncle, the Royal Archmagus, dead—with Lyriana next on the list. The group flees for their lives, relentlessly pursued by murderous mercenaries; their own parents have put a price on their heads to prevent the king and his powerful Royal Mages from discovering their treachery.

The bastards band together, realizing they alone have the power to prevent a civil war that will tear their kingdom apart—if they can warn the king in time. And if they can survive the journey . .

20adf4_df1db29699fc459a8480746d5e7c0908 My thoughts 20adf4_df1db29699fc459a8480746d5e7c0908

This is the very fast paced book that I’ve ever read this year. Man, every word is a beat of the heart and I really love the twist of the royals and the battling between them is really great. There some annoying stuffs but you can handle them very well. I love digging to the stories of different characters and the more I read, the more I learn from their lands and culture.

The story surrounds to Tilla, who is a royal bastard in Lord Kent heir and he has a half-brother, Jax that lives in a stables. One night in the feast of the Westerns, where all nobles are joined and even the bastards of each royalties, Miles and Zell. There is the soon-to-be-Queen, that they mostly waited, Lady Lyriana, who will rule after his father death. Lady Lyriana wants to explore the world and willing to take risks as long as she set her foot in the ocean, Tilla found it bad idea, but doesn’t have a choice. All five of them leadLyriana to see the ocean until all of five of them witness a dreadful battle and killings in the ocean that leads them a great danger.

I found this book interesting and well captivated. It’s just the characters, especially Miles, I’m pretty annoyed to him in some points. But to overall the characters, as young as they are, they could already think of survival and how will they battle each day of their travel. It’s not just about royalties and such but the bond of these characters are well blended and they got this team effort, as long as they stick together and make it through the day. But the part of the ending torn me apart and broke my trust and sighting of all things!

I love the part when they’re having storytelling and how they’re powers are created, especially on the Mages. I somehow love and hate Miles since I love his genius act I just hate is heart turning to be bad as sort and I wish I could kill him in every second in the book! Zell and Tilla, they’re just amazing! Amazing and adorable, I’m so into they’re love story even though it looks childish! Jax, oh my Jax, I seriously love him and also Lyriana, they’ve made absolutely a cute couple!

Overall, the book is lovely and this is one of my anticipated reads this 2017! I finished this book in just one sitting in the office since I really can’t put it down. If you are into GOT kind of books, this Young adult High fantasy novel, is perfectly fit on you!
